Kshitij Kucheria Among Chip Leaders From DPT 35K Main Event Day 1B (Turbo)

The 1.2 Crore GTD DPT 35K Main Event has completed it’s second starting flight, Day 1B. A total of 89 entries entered the flight, with 28 of them surviving the day’s onslaught and advancing to Day 2.

As per the list received, Aghar (or Azhar) bagged the day-end chip lead, with the DPT 11K Warm-up 3rd place finisher Kshitij Kucheria (178,000) and Vishal Ojha (154,500) being the other big stacks.

Zarvan Tumboli from HJ opens to 7k, Kshitij Kucheria from cutoff calls, Akhilendra from the big blind also calls. Action back on Zarvan, he too comes along with way and all the players take to the flop.

Akhilendra and Zarvan check, and Kshitij bets 6200. The action back on Akhilendra who goes all-in for 19k. Zarvan shoves behind for 60k and Kshitij goes all-in for 39k.

In the very first and very interesting hand of the day, MPL Poker pro Dhaval Mudgal from UTG open raises to 600 without seeing his cards. Everyone else folds and Loveleen Singh from big blind moves all-in, that too without seeing his cards. Dhaval snap calls and both players turn over their cards!

DPT Main Event Day 1B Underway

Level 1 (Blinds 100-100 & Ante 0)

The second of the three starting flights at the 1.2 Crore GTD DPT 35K Main Event has begun. The tournament featuring a whopping 1.2 Crore GTD runs from 16th to 18th April. Day 1B will run 13 levels of 20 minute each, with all surviving players coming back for Day 2 on Monday, 18th April.

Players start with 30k stack at blinds of 100-100. Late registration will close at the end of level 9.

The last starting flight (Day 1C) takes place tomorrow, 17th April.

Just a reminder, we will not be live-reporting the Main Event starting flights but will do a few posts like notables, key hands, late registration-end post, day-end chip counts and more. Stay tuned in.
