USOP Hanoi: Guarav Sood & Ashish Munot Final Table HR Megastack; Harsh Dev Tops Indian 10 Cashes In Mini ME

The U Series of Poker (USOP) Hanoi 2023 running at the Crown Poker Club is now in its final stage.  As many as 19 titles have already been claimed and all eyes are now on  the VND 12 Billion GTD Event #23: VND 25 Million Main Event.Team India has been impressive in the series, with one title and multiple final table finishes. Showcasing their prowess in the VND 2 Billion GTD Event #17: VND 77 Million High Roller Megastack were Gaurav Sood and Ashish Munot, both posting final table finishes.

Sood walked away with a commendable VND 369.80 Million for his 6th-place finish, while former WPT India Main Event champion Munot took the ninth spot, earning VND 209 Million for his efforts. The other Indian to cash the event was Arsh Grover who finished 12th-place for VND 178 Million.

The High Roller Megastack kicked off on Monday. With 114 entrants, the event crushed its guarantee over 3 times, generating a mammoth VND 7.741 Billion prize pool. The largest share of the prize pool finally went to Vietnams Dao Minh Phu who championed the event, claiming VND2.154 Billion.

Harsh Dev Tops 10 Indian Cashes In VND 2 Billion GTD Event #13: VND 8.80 Million Mini ME

Among the other highlights was the VND 2 Billion GTD Event #13: VND 8.80 Million Mini Main Event where Vietnam’s Le Huy Thanh emerged victorious and walked away with VND 1.150 Billion.

The mega event drew in a total of 708 contenders, collecting a whopping VND 5.494 Billion prize pool and smashing its guarantee.  Out of the 88 participants who secured payouts were 10 Indians.

Harsh Dev Jhirmiria topped the Indian cashes, placing 22nd for VND 33 Million. The other Indians to cash were Gautam Rohilla (30th for VND27 Million), Chirag Khanduja (32nd for VND 27 Million), Kunal Patni (43rd for VND 24 Million), Sumit Sapra (44th for VND 24 Million), Arjanveer Chadha (60th for VND 20 Million), Ramesh Thotapalli (66th for VND 19 Million), Ankit Jajodia (70th for VND 19 Million), Ashish Ahuja (73rd for VND 18 Million) & Amit Kaushik (80th for VND 18 Million).

Two Indians Score In Event #14: VND 55 Million High Roller Superstack

In the VND 1.20 Billion GTD Event #14: VND 55 Million High Roller Superstack event, Vishal Ojha and Kunal Patni added to Team India’s scorecard. Ojha secured the 16th spot, while Patni finished 19th, taking home VND 111 Million and VND 89 Million respectively. The tournament crowned a champion in Vietnam`s Dong Van Tan who topped a a 149-entry field (90 unique) to claim the VND1.705 Billion.
