The World Poker Tour is gearing up to host its most exciting online tournament series to date, the WPT Global Fall Festival. The four-week event, which runs from September 10 to October 1, offers 81 tournaments and a total prize pool of $2 million. The buy-ins vary from $11 to $3,500, making it a desirable festival for all poker enthusiasts. To make it even more exciting, it offers the opportunity to earn a WPT500 championship, a WPT Prime title, and even the coveted WPT Championship title.
“Following a successful Spring Festival on WPT Global, we are happy to announce that our online counterpart is hosting another tournament series this fall,” said Adam Pliska. “The most prominent element of the WPT Global Fall Festival is that it will ultimately add to the WPT Champions Club.”
The WPT Global Fall Festival is right around the corner. It kicks off on 10 September, with the first of 11 flights in the $125,000 Guarantee $530 buy-in WPT 500, which runs from September 17-24. It will be directly followed by the $1,060 WPT Prime event slated for September 17-24. Finally, the festival concludes with the $3,500 buy-in, $300,000 GTD WPT Championship from September 24-October 1.
Players will have multiple chances to win a 2023 WPT World Championship Passport package. While the winner of the WPT Prime and WPT Championship events will get a WPT World Championship Passport package, players may also earn a Passport package by finishing atop on the Fall Festival points leaderboard. Every tournament earns you points. On October 8, the ‘Champion of Champions freeroll’ will take place, covering all WPT Global Fall Festival champions.
