USOP Hanoi: Jajodia Among Top 3 Stacks On Day 1A OF ME; Antariksh Singh & Amit Kaushik Final-Table Event #21: PLO

The U Series of Poker (USOP) Hanoi 2023 running at the Crown Poker Club is now in its final stages. While there were several events churning the heat yesterday, the key attraction was the VND 12 Billion GTD Event #23: VND 25 Million Main Event, which drew in a total of 268 entries on Day 1A.

Day 1A ended with 34 surviving the day’s onslaught. Bagging the largest stack was Vietnam’s Dang Minh Dat with 912,000 (114 bbs) and he was followed by Tanawat Barapapanuwong (808,000).

From Team India, Ankit Jajodia stole the show bagging the third largest stack of 800,000 in chips. Also making the cut were India’s Rajeev Kanjani (467,000), and Somashekar Kurkhepalli (329,000).

India’s Antariksh Singh & Amit Kaushik Post FT Finishes In Event #21

Team India also made a splash in Event #21: VND 6.60 Million Pot Limit Omaha with Antariksh Singh (5th for VND 23.40 Million) and Amit Kaushik (7th for VNd 13.60 Million7) posting FT finishes.  

In the end, it was Malaysia’s Lim Kar Hou, who emerged victorious, earning the VND 111 Million prize. The event drew in 52 participants and generated VND 302.60 Million in the prizepool.

India’s Ashish Ahuja & Jasven Saigal Min-Cash In Event #22

Indians continued to shine with India’s Ashish Ahuja and Jasven Saigal securing 15th and 16th places respectively in Event #22: VND 3.40 Million Turbo, with each min-cashing for VND 7.70 Million.

Vietnam’s Doan Van Cuong shipped it after after a heads-up with Lim Jieh Therk Jason. While Jason secured a larger payout of VND 84.50 Million, Cuong took home the trophy and a VND 84.40 Million.
