WPT Adds Poker Vlogger Andrew Neeme As Its Latest Brand Ambassador

The World Poker Tour (WPT) continues with the recent trend of expanding its brand awareness via prominent video-content creators. Less than a month after signing the popular poker content creator Brad Owen, the leading tour has roped in poker player and vlogger Andrew Neeme as the latest member of its brand ambassador team. He is a veteran of the game with over two decades of experience as a player and a half dozen years as a content creator. He will follow the tour to attend WPT events, work with online partners in promotional efforts, and create exclusive content for WPT.

The announcement was made on Tuesday (24 May) and reacting to this big news, Neeme took to Twitter express his feelings, “Incredibly special and surreal moment for me. I’m linking up with @WPT to bring more poker vlogs, streams, and MUGs around the world. The WPT was instrumental in getting me and countless others into poker, and I couldn’t be happier to work together to do more.”

Neeme is  considered to be a perfect fit for WPT. Although his tournament career has not been that influential with just  $110k in profit, he has earned an impressive 176k subscribers and racked up millions of views, making him one of the most popular content producers in the poker industry.

Neeme joins American DJ Steve Aoki, actor and director Vincent Van Patten, and poker hostess Lynn Gilmartin, the most popular poker vlogger on YouTube Brad Owen as WPT brand representatives.

“Joining the team of ambassadors at WPT will be a massive enhancement to my work as a player-turned-creator,” said Neeme. “I’ve always used my vlog to not only highlight the game itself but also the experiences that surround a poker-focused life.”

“A partnership with Andrew is a natural fit for WPT,” World Poker Tour CEO Adam Pliska said in a press release. “He is a trailblazer in the poker industry whose influence on the game can be felt anywhere the game of poker is played.”

“WPT is ahead of the game in recognizing the value of content creators in the poker space,” said WPT Ambassador Brad Owen. “I couldn’t be happier to have my long-time friend and partner joining me on the WPT team.”

Credited with popularizing the concept of poker Meet Up Game or MUGs, Neeme will be attending his debut event as WPT Ambassador later this year. Players and his fans will get a chance to meet with Andrew throughout the WPT schedule as he will be attending WPT events all around the world.
